Hi guys,

I've been reading this forum for some days and I need your helps guys! so this is my situation, I apply for my work extension visa before my work permit expired (because I'm being sponsor and I'm waiting for my LMO), I got a letter saying that I have to resend my application again because it was missing one paper "the confirmation of the human resources bla bla", so now I have to apply for the restoration of status, work permit again, pay the fees and God knows what else. I all ready stop working since they told me it's illegal to work this way. I have few questions, if I get my LMO before they answer me back from the application of RS and WP can I apply for my TRV from inside of Canada? (I'm mexican so I need my visa to enter) If I get the LMO can I work meanwhile all my paper work it's in the Alberta office?

Hopefully someone knows or has been in my position!

1. Unless you have a valid LMO, you can't apply for restoration as a worker.
2. No you can't work until you get a new work permit, you have already been told to stop working.
3. If 90 days pass since the expiry of your work permit, you can't apply for restoration.
4. Without valid status, you can't apply for a TRV in Canada.
