My query basically is:
*Suppose I am nearing the end of my Post-Graduation Work permit period but still haven't applied for PR (because I do not have the minimum period of work experience), can I apply for a regular Work Permit to extend my stay till I get PR?

No not unless you have an employer who is willing to apply for an LMIA on your behalf to get that work permit.

Thanks! Is an LMIA hard to get??
Yes - unfortunately they tend to be hard to get. It's a long and expensive process for the employer. Plan on 4-6 months. The first step is for your employer to advertise the job for at least a month to prove no Canadian could be hired for the role. Make sure they follow the LMIA advertising requirements - they ads need to be posted in several places.

Thanks! Getting an LMIA doesn't seem to be an ideal route. So, if by the time my Post Graduate Work Permit is expiring and I have already applied for Express Entry, can I get a visa extension to retain my job till I am granted PR?

If you've been selected through EE, have submitted your application and your application has been accepted (and your PGWP is still valid) - then yes, you can apply for a bridging open work permit.

Thanks! That was very helpful. I hope applying and obtaining a bridging open work permit is easier than applying for an LMIA!

Sorry - I don't understand your post. The link you provided states that you can apply for a BOWP if you've applied for PR under an economic immigration program. That's exactly what I've said above.
Sorry
Even im referring to same thing which you mentioned
