I am awaiting rounds to open for Belgians getting Work Holiday Visa - What I'm finding a difficult time finding out on both the IEC website and speaking to Immigration is whether it is possible to enter Canada on just a 90 day tourist visa, wait for the qouta to open up and then apply from within Canada? It seems to say that as long as you exit and re-enter once you've received your letter, it will activate it, however, it subtly says in another area that that may not be an option. After speaking with IEC, they say they kind of think it's allowed, but no one seems to have a forsure answer. If I come to Canada with police checks, and everything else I need, I'm assuming it should be okay?..
I spoke to someone who applied from Belgium and they said there is a question of whether you're applying from within or outside...but all the application is online and I don't see the difference?
Anyone have experience with this? ANY information would be great!!!
