Applying for Wife Visitor Visa, with PR application in Process

Hi, I am in Canada and my wife is in India. We applied for PR and the application is in Process. Is it possible to apply for Visitor Visa when her PR application is in Process.

Yes - you can certainly apply. Since your wife has applied for PR, there is unfortunately a good chance her visit visa will be refused. But you can certainly try.

İ think it is something that depends on the person and the visa officer. There is no harm in trying.
i was in the same situation and applied for tourist visa and got it...
As long as you re honest about your intentions and convince them that spouse will go back, i dont think there is a problem but i am not a visa officer anyway
she is going to have to go back for her interview anyway since she wont be able to change the interview place..
