My mom was issued a visitor visa with a validity of 6 months due to her passport expiry date (her visa expires at the end of Dec). She is now in Canada and got a new passport. My questions are:
1. Can she apply (or extend) her visitor visa within Canada?
2. How can she get a visa that gives her a couple of years of re-entry (multiple entries) now that her passport is valid for another 10 years? Does she need to leave the country and apply for a visitor visa outside of Canada?
