Hi I need to travel outside Canada in April. I’m trying to apply for visitor visa but ran into a dilemma. I was working on a closed permit that expired I did apply for an extension but haven’t received yet as processing is 90 days, visa processing is 60 days. I do have a valid closed work permit for a different job that I applied for as plan b if my current employer wasn’t gonna provide documents for extension but I am not working there.
how can I apply for visitor visa as they require a valid work permit and proof of employment? Is there a way to apply with my extension not being approved yet ?
