Please advice you thoughts for my case below:
We(me and my spouse) are from Kolkata/India on Work Permit.We are here since last April ,he is working for Manulife as a contractor and I recently have joined TD.As I am pregnant and I want my parents to come and support us,we applied for my parents visitor visa from Kolkata.
We have shown documents like:
Our T4 forms , NOA and, Bank statement with combined bank balance of 25,000$.
Doctor's letter showing my status of health,Magistrate letter from here showing that we are going to support them for their tenure of stay here.
Their bank statement with 1.6 INR balance for 6 months.
My granparents life certificates and staing theat they are the only childs to support them in India.
My father is retired without pension and my mother is a house wife.
But their visa request has got rejected stating that,
1.Lack of funds in both sides
2.Not enough family ties
???
Now, as you can understand, I want to reapply,this time just for my Mother.
I would be sending the ticket bought for her from 31st Jul to 20th Nov'2013.
And an asset statement, showing that they own a house with almost 20lac INR valuation.
Please suggest:
What are my chances of getting the visa this time for my mother alone.
Do i need to send any other supporting documents.
Or, should I wait untill we get our landed immigrant status (we have applied for PR under CEC) and then apply for her super visa.
Please advice and help us out.
