Hi,

I am currently in Canada on a work permit. I am looking to apply for a visitors visa for my parents.

My dad has a job in India and my mom is a housewife. So I was hoping to apply for both of them in a single application with my dad as the primary applicant. However, I see that the application requires proof of relationship and my parents don't have a marriage certificate.

Is passport with the name of your spouse acceptable as proof of marriage? If not, is it ok to apply for them with two separate applications?

Same online account in your dad's name as the principal applicant.

Passport stating their names as spouses will suffice or else your birth certificate
