Hi,
Please find all the information here: http://www.consular.canada.usembassy.gov/
You can also start from https://www.nvars.com/Production/userhome.aspx . Here, you create a profile, after which you will be directed to the interview reservation system. You will then get a confirmation letter that will contain further instructions on filling out the online application form and required documents. You can also book an interview by telephone.
Generally, you need the following:
- the DS-160 (online application form). Depending on the consulate to which you are applying, you may also need the DS-157 (for applicants over 15 years of age).
- Valid Passport (at least 6 months) or travel document.
- Proof of legal status in Canada (study authorization): original or certified copy.
- Proof of income/ties. As a student in Canada, you may prove this with:
- School letter with proof of tuition payment
- Pay slips and tax documents
- Monthly bank statements.
- Non-refundable U.S. Visa Application Fee (two receipts are required, the fees must be paid at a ScotiaBank branch)
- Reciprocity fee (if applicable).
- Evidence showing the purpose of trip.
- Any other required documents will be indicated on your confirmation letter after scheduling your appointment.
All the best,
Essat
