I came to Canada last year on 'Open Work permit', my spouse was a student in Canada at that time. I got my work permit based on her study permit. Our permits (her student permit and my work permit) was expired last year Dec. We applied for the new work permit before the status was expired. My wife received her PGWP but my application was rejected due to insufficient documents. I re-applied with all the needed documents and got the work permit this time.
I am now applying for the TRV as it was expired in Dec 2018. I am confused with the application available for TRV. From the information I gave in the CIC questionnaire, it tells me to use IMM5708, however, when I google about TRV I see references of IMM5257E in some places. What is the right one for my situation?
