Here's our situation. My fiancee and I have been in a long distance relationship since October 2011. She's a Filipino but moved to Canada in 2004. A year ago, January 2012 to be exact, she visited me here in the Philippines. She introduced me to her family here in the Philippines and her mom who went home with her and I introduced her to my family as well. I was was a student then so we lived apart her whole stay here. To my surprise, she proposed to me and I said yes since we have already had our families' blessings anyway. After a month, she went back to Canada and we kept constant communication via Skype, BBM, Facebook and all other social media platforms. Just last January 18, she visited me again and this time I stayed with her family since I'm working already. We spent a lot of time together and went on trips. She went back to Canada on the 28th of February and asked me if I could go visit her there before the year ends. We want to figure out where it would be best for us to settle down and she wants me to just see Canada so we can finally decide. So right now I'm on the process of applying for a TRV for the visit.
Here are my details. I've been working as a researcher for a TV Broadcast company for almost a year now. I'm 23 years old and living with my whole family. No one in my family lives abroad thus no relatives at all living outside of the country. Roughly, I have around P170,000 or a little more than $4000 in my account. I've gone to Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam just last year.
My fiancee is 25 years old, living with her family and working as a chef in Canada. She earns $30,000 yearly and as I said is a Canadian citizen already.
Here are my questions:
1. What are my chances of me getting a TRV if she shoulders my food and lodging during my stay there?
2. Is it advisable for me to declare that I have a fiancee in Canada and that we do have an intention to get married but plan to do outland sponsorship or should we just say that I'm just visiting her as a friend and not mention our relationship?
I'd like to believe that the fact that we're planning to do an outland sponsorship would convince the CIC that I won't overstay my visa since we wouldn't want that to affect our sponsorship but my fiancee is worried my visa application would get rejected.
3. If I apply for TRV and declare her as just my friend and get my visa, would getting married during my visit there affect our sponsorship application?
4. If we don't get married on the first visit, and we get married on my second visit to her in 2015 and do an inland sponsorship, would they still hold us liable for saying that she is just my friend in the visa application?
I'm really scared of not disclosing to the CIC our relationship and we really don't want to hurt our chances of being together faster. LDR really is hard and we'd like to be able to end this distance by 2015.
Thanks in advance for your responses.
