Applying for TRV in-Canada after PGWP+applying for TRV for family outside Canada

Hi

I recently got my Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) and now I am applying for TRV from Vancouver. My application will be 'in-Canada.'

The online application also allows you to apply for your family members too who may be outside Canada along with your application. I am planning to apply for TRV for my parents who are in Islamabad-Pakistan, with my TRV application which is inland.

TRV processing in Canada is 14 days. TRV processing time in Islamabad is 70 days.

Will my inland application be delayed because of this? Or will these be considered as two separate cases? Is there a possibility that my parents application is processed faster because its linked with my application?

Any help would be appreciated.

The applications need to be submitted separately. Your parents application will be processed through Islamabad - not Canada. Family members include your spouse / common law partner and/or children. Not your parents.

No - your parents application can't be processed faster by being linked to your application. Again, it's a separate application entirely and will be processed outside of Canada since that's where they are located.
