Applying for the skilled immigration category

Hi All,

For the past couple of days I have been reading a lot on CANADAVISA.com and I would say this is really loaded with information.. thank you guys...

I am also planning to submit my file under "Federal Skilled Worker applications" and yes my job is being there in the 29 eligible occupation list, that has been released on 26th June 2010. (it is under 1122)

I along with my wife are planning to apply; the biggest concern is to show funds and this is where I would need your expert advices, hope you dont leave me disappointed-

- I am currently withdrawing a salary of Rs. 60k per month and there is too much inflow and out flow of cash from my account --
Is that a concern, can CIC will question me on this?

- I have never saved a penny from the above mentioned salary, so every month the money that gets credited to my account, I use to spend it, recently I saved just 60k

- If I sell my wife's jewelry and get the monies (app. of Rs 6 lacs) is it okay to show that money as PROOF OF FUNDS? What all proof CIC, New Delhi would require for the same? and certificate of sale or any thing?

- Similarly I have a car too, which I can sell? Does that too need a certificate of sale?

- What is the time period it takes now a days to get the immigration done, if I apply now?

Inflow and out flow of cash from your account is not a problem
You need to show that you have funds for at least 3 months in past at time of application and need the funds till the time Visa is granted
You can gather funds by selling some of the stuff that you mentioned and keep the reciepts but they may not be required at all if funds are available for duration of three months before the application
