Applying for Supervisa when we have visitor visa active

My parents got Visitor visa in 2021 which is valid until 2031. I am applying for their supervisa.
Few queries
1. Will having visitor visa help with getting supervisa?
2. I am wondering if they will cancel the VIsitor visa if super visa is approved?
3. Also, if for whatever reason, they decline the supervisa, Visitor visa will remain valid?
