Applying for super visa while holding valid visitor visa

I’m currently applying for super visa for my parent after upfront medical exam results were sent to IRCC my parent is asked to go under further examination even though the local panel physician determined that nothing was wrong with her results. Our original plan was to have her come here late March using visitor visa and go back home then reenter using super visa when/if she gets approved. We also haven’t filed application yet, just preparing paperwork for the application for now. My questions are if we don’t submit the application, will she have trouble entering Canada with visitor visa and will her visitor visa be cancelled if we decide to submit application for super visa?
