Applying for Study Permit - Need some Answers - PLEASE HELP

Hi everyone,

I am about to apply for Study permit. I am going to apply on my own without any agent because i guess its not that difficult and i can also save some serious bucks.

I will explain my case here and i need all of you to kindly put some light on my problems based on your knowledge and experience.

I am applying from Kuwait, i am actually a Pakistani. I had received my Offer letter. My documents as mentioned on CIC are completed. My bank gurantee is almost 42000$. I have applied for a one year post secondary certificate program.

The thing is that i completed my secondary back in 2009, since than, i had not completed any type of course so the gap is quite big. But somehow, i have a date of 2012 on my school leaving certificate. Actually i never passed my higher secondary :( after several attempts. After that i left studies and did some small courses but not worth mentioning as i do not have any certificate or diploma.

On study permit form, they ask that do i have completed any post secondary course. Should i select no ? Actually i earned couple of Diplomas online through ALISON.com - What if i mention them with dates 2014-2015 and i mention that i attended school till 2012 to fill up the gap ?
Actually what i want to ask is that do i have to attach my education records ? Because i don't see them on checklist.

My second question is:

I am living in Kuwait since childhood but the permit system in Kuwait is quite different. We have to renew our permit every year so the permit which i have is valid for one year. The section where the form asks about country of residence and immigration date, should i mention the date i landed in Kuwait which is 1996 or i should put the date based on my permit validity which is from June 2014 - June 2015 ?

Please help me with these questions.
Also what would you suggest about applying without agent

Looking forward to some serious help :)
