Applying for study permit after AOR

Hello everyone. My AOR was in February last year. I've not heard any updates on the PR app since then.

Since then, I applied for and received an admission for doctoral studies at a Canadian university. So I have to apply for a study permit now.

One of the questions on the study permit application is -

• How long are you planning to stay in Canada?

I believe that since it's for a study permit, the answer should be "Temporarily - more than 6 months" - however, I am not sure about the response since I am also in the PR queue.

Has anyone done this before and do you have any advice? Thanks!

just indicate however long it’ll take you to complete your studies
