applying for student visa after 8 yrs of education gap

i am 28 yrs old , i hav done my dip in hotel mangemnt in 2005 from mumbai. i hav wrked for 2yrs wit taj hotel and then went on to cruise liners . but after going through lot research i hav planned to do my further studies in canada . since i hav 8 yrs of gap can any one plz tell me wheather cam i apply for pg in hospitality and tourism operation managemnt, i even hav called up sum colleges to confirm wheather i can apply for masters in hospitality mangemnt and the answer was no since i need to have 10 yrs of exp for applying for masters. but as per the visa office ur studies , wrk experience ,and further studies should corelate whit each other , does applying for pg in hospitality and torism managemnnt help me in getting a visa.

Am 29 yrs old, having 8 years IT Infra Mgmt exp. got admission my MS in IT security mgmt studies. finally got my visa too..

I explained why i need this course and why this university in my Visa SOP.

hi, iam also a hmct diploma man. I got my visa yesterday after 6 yrs gap so gap is not an issue . regarding the course I think u can go for a pg diploma.
