I have been working in Canada on a Working Holiday Visa for one year, i ahve applied to extend this visa and i was advised the Bunac visa i am can not be extended. The compnay i am working for then tried to sponsor me to stay but there Labour Market Opinion was also declined.

If i apply for a perm residency is there any way this can be fast tracked as i have already lived and worked in canada for one year?

As far as I can see, you have 3 ways to apply for PR.

You can apply as a federal skilled worker either under category 2 or 3 if you fill other requirements such as 67 points.

1. For category 2, your employer would have to apply for an AEO for you and you would use that for your application.

2. For category 3, you apply as having been in Canada for a year and don't need anything from the employer but need to apply before you leave Canada.

You might qualify to apply under the PNP of your province

3. For PNP, you need an AEO from the employer.

With the new skilled worker, all of these applications are fast tracked but that doesn't mean they will take a month, more like 6 months if you are lucky, 12 to 18 if you are not.
