Hi all,
This question might have been asked earlier, if so please point to me the right thread.
I did a landing Canada in March and I didn't have a permanent address.
When the Immigration officer asked why I was visiting I said that it was for Initiating the process of my PR.
He said that he will not be giving the address for the PR Card now as you are not going to stay here till the PR card is generated, but your PR card will be generated and kept with us.
To re-enter you will need a PRTD.
I had to leave from Canada the same day, as my dad wasn't well and I had to travel to India immediately.
Now that things have settled a bit, I want to come to Canada and look for a job and settle down.
For applying to PRTD, I only have the CoPR document and my passport.
Should I include a note explaining my situation to the officer?
Please suggest how I go about it.
