Question 10 Current country of residence has a follow up question about current immigration status and a 'from' and 'to' date for that status.
The applicant was previously under IEC 'Working Holiday' visa (open work permit) and are extending their stay as a Visitor. In this visitor extension application, we requested 12 months from the datef her open work permit expires.
So my two questions are:
1. Do we put Visitor for her status or Other and explain that they are under 'maintained status as a visitor'? The guide has an example for Out of Status applicants but not Maintained Status applicants.
2. The 'To' date is required to be a future date (assuming when the status expires). In the event that you are in maintained status when you submit the application, what date are you supposed to put here? Do I put the date we requested in the visitor extension application? Or do we just put any future date?
