Hello,
I'm hoping someone could help me with this.

I have been living and working in Canada for just over 1.5yrs.
I got to the section where it asked "how much funds will you bring to Canada"
As I am already in the country and working, what do I put in here?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks! :)

Zero

You're under CEC so you don't need any POF.
But, you will have to show your pay slips and T4.

Grace2015,

It depends on the category you are applying under (FSW, FST, CEC, etc). You say you have been working in Canada for about 1.5 years, but you have not specified whether you are applying with this Canadian work experience and therefore, under CEC. If you are not applying under CEC, then your family composition will also come into play in determining how much you should put in there.

Hi thanks for the replies.
Sorry I should have put more info in my first message.
I will be applying under the CEC. I am single, so I only have myself to support.
I am literally just creating my EE profile now and didn't want to put in zero in case it affects my scoring?

This is what the requirement says 'Unless you are currently authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada, or you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, you must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada.' http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

You do not have to show that you have these funds if:
- you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
- you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.
