Hi,

Thank you for all your support guys :) I am planning to go to Canada soon. My husband was the one who sponsored me there, and now I have to show my landing.

I heave searched for PR application on the cic website, but a few of my friends have told me that my PR card will be processed automatically, and that I dont have to do anything except land in Canada for that.

Is that true? on the cic website, it mentioned "first time comers", so I am a little confused about it.

My friends have told me that they recieved their PR card automatically within like 3-4 weeks after landing in Canada.

Please help me, as I want to fill out all the required documents before I go...please advice me if you can!

Thanks as usual :) :)

1. When you "land" the PR card will be processed at that time. You don't need to complete an application. The card will be mailed to an address in Canada, takes about 36 working days.
