Hi everyone, I am currently working in Canada under WH visa in IT sector (System Admin).
I have gathered all the documents except for certificate from WES. Unfortunately it takes to long from them to provide me with results. My current work visa expires on August 26, and my plan was to apply by the end of the next week and then to acquire bridging permit, but WES won’t send me results until July 5. If I apply then I am not sure that I will get AOR on time to bridge my permit.
Does someone know some solution that could help me with my problem?
Also, since I am working full time, do I have to provide prove of funds?

If you are applying for FSW under the occupation stream - then yes, you need to provide POF even if you have a job in Canada. If you are apply for FSW under the arranged employment stream - then no POF is required.

The solutions to your problem that I see are: (1) Have your employer obtain an approved LMO and obtain a closed work permit before your IEC expires; (2) Leave Canada and wait out the processing of your FSW application from outside of Canada; (3) Change your status to a visitor and remain in Canada without working until your application is finalized (you will likely have to extend your visitor visa at least once).
