A little bit background about my program of studies. I’ll be graduating from my 2-year program this month and then continue my studies for my 3-year program until the end of next year. This is because my program coordinator has announced in an email to students that students who have finished all the courses in the first two years can apply to graduate and get a Diploma, and then they can continue their studies for another year and get an Advanced Diploma. This is reasonable because courses in the first two years of the two programs are overlapped.
My intention is to study part-time in my very last semester, which is next September. Thus, I am wondering if I can apply for Post-graduation Work Permit in perhaps the next summer with my diploma and continue my part-time studies because I acknowledge that graduates must apply for PGWP within 180 days after graduation.
