Applying for parents TRV

Hi,

I wanted to ask couple of questions,

1) Can i apply for my parents online with them sending me all there documents? How much can i assist them? Or is it like they should click the submit button

2) Would we be required to apply with 2 applications? one for my mother and one for my father separately ? if not how will they apply online?
