Applying for OHIP after getting SOWP

Applying for OHIP after getting SOWP - on Ontario website it says(in addition to be holding WP)-
are in Ontario on a valid work permit and are working full-time in Ontario, for an Ontario employer, for at least 6 month. Anyone had luck getting an OHIP when they just started their employment but letter says "full time"?

Would certainly try. Even if is clear guidance it is often left up to service Ontario employee to make the judgement call.

You can actually get the OHIP without a Job offer. I got mine on an Open Work Permit

They appear to have applied Outland so would need AIP.
