Good afternoon,
My husband and I are looking to invite my mother in law to visit with us. We're new parents to twin boys and we'd love for her to visit to meet my family, our boys and show her around town. We got married in 2012 and my husband family applied for a visa then but it was denied, I believe they didn't show previous travel history. My mother in law has traveled to Isreal in the last 10yrs and Germany before that, the first visa application she failed to show her old passports showing those visas.
What do you think is the best route for her? She's a retired civil servant, resident of Nigeria. We're also considering adding one of my sister in laws to the application, she's a civil servant working with the federal government and has traveled to other countries within Africa as well as Dubai.
Can we show to be the sole financial supporter for my mother in law? We were thinking of using our notice of assessment as proof.
