Applying for ICT, ECC model

Hi All - I am currently working for an employer in India and I am working on an engagement where I provide my services for a US Client and its client base in Canada.

Now there is a need for me to travel to the client site in Canada.
So its an ECC model (employer => Client (In US) => Client (In Canada))

My employer is thinking of applying for ICT for me to Canada so that I can work there at the client site. Please note that the canada client is not our direct client but a client of our client in US.

Please suggest if this is possible or not.

ICTs are for transferring to a Canadian located arm of your company. Does your company have operations in Canada including a physical branch / office / location? Are they filing taxes in Canada? If not, ICT won't work out.

My company does have operations in Canada and they do have a physical address as well.

If you're being transferred to a role with your company's operations in Canada (i.e. working at your company's physical offices in Canada) - then it should be fine.

Thanks. Well. thats the basic requirement for filing for ICT visa. My actual question was that can I work at a client site in Canada. I know that's possible in USA as I had worked there for 3 years on L1 visa (similar to ICT) at the client site.

There are no restrictions or caveats, you can work for the client on ICT. There are many here doing the same so no worries.
