My grandmother (Canadian citizen of Indian origin) wants to spend her remaining years in India. Our life has become very busy as grandchildren and can no longer properly care for her. We have arranged for a proper network of caretakers in India.
We are submitting her entry visa application tomorrow and thinking about applying for OCI some time soon as well. Is this allowed and possible?
if she goes to India on her entry visa and is later granted OCI, can she continue to stay in India on the basis of her oci?
