Applying for Child's Canadian Citizenship - US Citizen by Birth

Hi Experts -Want to know if by applying for Canadian Citizenship, will the Child hold a Dual Citizenship(US & Canada) or have to forgo US?

the child can have dual citizenship.

can have both. my son has both. no issues on both sides.
