Applying for Canadian PR holding USA H1 B visa

I am currently in USA on H1 B visa and have been here for a year now.
I want to apply for Canadian PR. Can anyone let me know what criteria is suitable for me to apply or what are current eligibility for applying for canadian PR.
I have browsed a lot on web but I am unable to find correct or reliable source of information.
Help with correct information will be really appreciated.
