Hi guys,

I need an advice. My points are pretty low (345), so my chances for getting the ITA are very slim for this year, so I was exploring some other options.

1) OOPNP French Speaking - I am waiting TEF results and once I get them, if everything goes well I might get the invitation. However, this also might take some time.

2) I found a Post Grad course that is really interesting for my future development and I have financial means to finance that time in Canada for me and my family. My husband could eventually work and I could study. However, based on what I've read in the Study part of the forum, getting a Study permit can be quite tough if they do not believe that you will come back after the study period.

So my question for you is, do you think it is risky to try that? And can a rejected Study permit be a problem for the EE later on? I really do not want to ruin everything with this, but on the other hand if I get it, it will be easier to find work and settle later on.

Can you please comment? I need to brainstorm with all of you. :)

Thanks,
H.

Apply for study permit first and come to Canada using that. Then create an express entry profile and wait for ITA. Its that simple. :)

I dont think it will be suspicious. But you will have to prove your ties to your home country while applying for study permit.. Like relatives, home etc. All the best :)
