I have a question regarding applying for a study permit online. I applied online August 13, 2014.
When applying for a study permit online through myCIC account, how does it know which visa office to send the application to? When I applied, it didn't give me the option of the Manila visa office (that is the office responsible for Japanese citizens). Is this normal and will it be automatically directed to the Manila office once they receive it? I did however, when filling out the questionnaire to see if you are eligible to apply online, I selected current country of residence as Japan. I know that with paper application you would normally send it to the visa office/VAC responsible for your country but I don't know too much about what happens with applications applied online? Don't they still need to go the responsible visa office?
This is my 1st time applying and I just don't want to mess up my application.
