I'm from Iran but have been living in Malaysia for 6 years now. I have been here on a work permit applied for a study permit in Canada but my application got refused and the reason was "immigration status in your country of residence" I'm not sure what it means as I'm employed here and have been on work permit for 6 years and it expires in 2019.
