Hello,
I am planning on applying for a student visa to complete my graduate studies in Canada in the near future. However, my situation is a bit complicated.
For context, I live in Abu Dhabi and have been living in Abu Dhabi for almost my entire life along with my family.
Furthermore, I hold a Palestinian travel document from Lebanon.
I can demonstrate enough funds for tuition and living costs with no issues.
Now, as far as I understand, the application process for the student visa also requires demonstrating ties to home country and it seems that a lot of applicants from Abu Dhabi get refused because of this very point.
I would like to hear from anybody who has been in a similar position and succeeded in obtaining a student visa.
