we are egyptian family applying for the PR as skilled workers.
the file was recieved on the 31 Jan12
and We recieved a letter from CIC that everything is going well , in March the application status online mentioned that it has been sent to the Visa office (I would asume that is the visa office in Cairo right?) then in May The application was in process and I recieved a letter from Ottawa immigration pilot asking few questions.
Althought i throught i understood the process but now i dont know what is the next step. is the file in Cairo? is it in Ottawa ? is it being processed in parallel ?
please advice on the steps and the estimated processing time and why the file is processed in Ottawa ? not in cairo ?
