Hi there,

I'm going to Canada early january on an under 35 open work permit. I am a security system installer (NOC 2242-B) and have ten interviews set up with reputable canadian companies. I applied as a skilled worker a couple of years ago and was refused due to lack of proof that I could support myself in Canada even though I have a brother living there for the past 25 years. Can anyone give me some info on the best way to go about staying on as I'm hoping this opportunity will lead to me living in Canada one day.

I know the swap visa cant be extended so can I continue working on the swap visa and later on apply for the skilled worker programme again except this time with offered employment?

Can I be working for an employer on the swap visa before he submits an application for an LMO and then a work permit for CIC inside Canada?

Whats is the easiest option for an employer to want to sponsor a foreign worker?

I would really appreciate any help folks,

Cheers
