Applying citizenship certificate for my DNA daughter

I am Canadian when my DNA related daughter was born. Somehow my daughter's birth Certificate only bear names of my girl friend and her ex-husband who disappeared since 3 years ago. Since then and upto now I have been staying in Shenzhen with my daughter and my girl friend. Now I want my daughter to be Canadian, can I achieve that in this complex situation ?

In many countries, the husband is automatically listed as the father if the couple is still married. I think it would be best for you to try to correct this on the birth certificate first. If this is impossible, contact the Canadian embassy and explain that this is your child although the information on the b/c is wrong and you are ready to prove this with a DNA test if necessary.
