I can't think straight anymore could anyone help me out :'(
here is my situation:
Both my CAQ and Study Permit expiration date is Jan 20
My adviser told me i have to apply for my CAQ first before i apply my study permit
but even if i hand in my CAQ application tomorrow i still wont get my CAQ by Jan 20
so she recommend me to still apply for study permit without the CAQ but attached a letter to ask them to contact me when they open my file
She said if it was a good agent who open my file will contact me
but if it was a bad agent then my application will be refused and i wont be able to study this semester
this semester is my last semester, i only got two courses left, after this i will be graduating
my last day to add/drop courses is Jan 15
Problems:
1)I have to attached a "Degree Letter Request Form" (to indicate im graduating) to apply for CAQ which i will received about 3 weeks later which is absolutely after Jan 20
2)If it was a bad agent then i wont be able to study this semester but since it's after Jan 15 which is the last day of add/drop, i still have to pay for the tuition
3)if i was refused then i have reapply and start a whole new school year which is at least 12 credits in order to graduate, then i will be wasting time and money
What should i do? I can't just drop my last two courses just to avoid the tuition payment, there's not guarantee i will get a gd agent who open my file
one of my fd suggest me to talk to the CAQ office so MAYBE they could rush my application which i dont think they will
I know I could hv done my application way before, but i wasnt expect i will fail two courses at my last summer and fall session. If i passed those two courses i wont be in this situation now
