Applying at the Border for an Intra Company Transfer

Hi everyone,
My previous apply for the Intra Company Transfer was rejected apparently due to lack of information provided regarding skill and knowledge. They first asked for a LMO and after I explained it was a ICT (LMO exempt) they simply refuse my application.
There's no doubt my previous application was missing many information about my job but I didn't know the law had had recently super tough change.

Just had a long conversation with my company lawyer (the Canadian one the side of my company in Canada).
Both my company and the lawyer seems confident about my WP and they assume that I perfectly match with the new Criteria.
(actually if I'm not allowed to get in probably none from my company could ever get in as I work for a very sophisticate and unique BU).

Now they say we have 2 option:

- Apply again for the ICT providing tons of documentation regarding company unique knowledge and my skill. But this time I should expect a quite long timing process (lawyer say it could reach 2 months).
- Get on a plane and show up there at the border with all the paperwork and the internal application and hope for the immigration officer to accept the whole situation.

The first case is "safe" (no flight ticket wastage) but it is going to take some time. The second is way faster, could get the TWP in 1 hour, but it has some risk as it can get refused and I could be sent back on the airplane.
Lawyer seems super confident about taking the airplane; as he will be ready for assistance to me once I land. He also believe there should not be any problem with all the documentation on support.

What you guys thing about his all ?

1. With a previous refusal for an ICT, it may take about an hour to refuse and put you on a plane back home.
2. How can the lawyer assist you? He would not be allowed into Secondary to talk to you.
3. Your choice, but if you might find yourself being sent home.

Hi, thank for your reply.
My previous apply was denied because I didn't provide any proof of sophistication about my job position and company profile.
The ICT used not to ask all those things. You just had to upload your resume and provide letter company relationship.
I missed many fields and didn't fill many requested document to upload.
I did wrong, I know, but there's really no way my profile could be rejected for the ICT unless Canada has definitely close its border to foreigners.

I'm just trying to understand how deep they would consider the previous apply vs my physical presence there with all paper and company full letter and description.
