i also want to ask...is it better if i apply as a family beacause i cant seem to think about the idea im applying alone for study permit and leave my son and husband home.

im getting mixed reviews about this...........im strongly thinking about going together or if refused staying together at home

You can try applying together. Many people got approved and many refused too

It is case by case

Also even if you apply together, it is not that all will get the decision at the same time

Your study permit will get the decision first in all likelihood and the dependent visas take longer. Check the processing times to understand the time it takes for each category

If you feel you meet all requirement as a family, better to apply together
