Hi. I am applying alone to Express Entry to get more score and because my wife and elder son are presumed PR in Canada, even though they have not meet the residency requirements. My question is whether I can show my younger son as an accompanying child or not if I apply alone, not with my spouse? @scylla @Leon. Thanks a lot!

No - you cannot. He is already a PR.

Hi Scylla and thanks for your response. My younger son is not PR. Three of us, me, my wife and our older son got PR in 2011. None of us met the residency obligation to renew it. So last year I renounced my PR voluntarily to be able to apply to express entry again. We have other son, who was born in 2013, he is not PR in Canada. So now my wife and older son have expired PR in Canada. I do not as I have renounced it. My younger son does not have PR either, because he was not even born when we got our first PR. So my question is if I apply now for Express Entry alone, can I show my younger son, who has never been PR in Canada, as my accompanying child? Hope this is more clear now. Please advise if you knwo the answer.

Yes - you can include your younger son as accompanying.
