Applying 2 months before the purpose of visit for canada visit visa

Hello everyone!!
I just wanted to know as I am applying to attend my brother's wedding which is in august 2023. and we are applying in june, 2023. So it is possible that we get the result early before the arrival date which we mentioned in the form... or we are late to apply now, as if our application will review after our mentioned date of arrival, so it will be no worth than and dirsct chance of rejection?
Please provide your suggestion.

Honestly, you probably have left it too late so apply ASAP. IRCC doesn’t care about your travel dates just about your funds, travel history, ties to home country and reasons to travel.

depends on from where you are lodging yor application. From Pakistan and India processing time is pretty fast within 1-2 months you get your ppr. For indians within 1 month
