Hey guys,
I haven't seen posts about this issue in a while so I would like to know if it's still possible/lawful to "flagpole" at US Port of Entry.
I am currently an international student in Vancouver on a private institution (so it seems that no PGWP is guaranteed) and I would like to know if it's possible to get a WP at the border to stay in Canada until I have enough Canadian work experience to apply for a provincial/federal immigration program.
Has anyone here done it recently?
Should I take my diploma/certifications to the border and try the PGWP?
Is it mandatory to have a LMIA or a formal letter with a job offer?
Awaiting your kindly reply.
rgds,
Mauricio
