Just wanted to ask that i sponsored my common law partner for PR but we broke off 3 months before , I am getting married in jan 2025 with another person , can i sponsor him for open work permit ?

You cannot sponsor someone for an open work permit.

When did your common law partner land in Canada and become a PR?

Five-year sponsorship bar for people who were sponsored to come to Canada as a spouse or partner

• If a spouse or partner sponsored you, you can’t sponsor a new spouse or partner within five years of becoming a permanent resident.
• This rule applies even if you became a Canadian citizen within those five years."

Sounds like the OP sponsored their common law partner. If so, it's 3 years and not 5. The above rule does not apply to her.

Did you break off before or after your partner landed as PR? If you broke off AFTER and your partner landed as PR already, you cannot sponsor another person 3 years from that landing day.

There is no route to sponsor for open work permit.
