Hi, My name is Minseok and I'm preparing application for CEC.
Please give me advice.

I will fulfill 52 weeks on Dec 5th 2014 and I'm going to sent application from Vancouver. After that, I'll go to Korea on Dec 7th 2014.

What I concern is that
*My work place does pay bi-weekly and Dec 5th is not a payday.
*If I send the application before I leave I can't attach my last pay stub
*I have letter of employment from my workplace.

My question is
*If I send application without last pay stub, can it be rejected?

My plan-B is send it from Korea. However, I have to send it to visa office in Manila, Philippines and they will send it to Canada. Then it maybe Dec 13th.

What I concern is that
*If I send the application from Korea to Philippines on Dec 13th, would it be arrived before new year? If it arrive at the end of December, there would be no problem. However, there is holiday on Dec, so I'm worrying about delaying of delivery of the application and then I can lost last chance to get CEC before the starting of express entry.

For more detail
*I started Nov 18th 2013
*I had 2 weeks unpaid vacation
*The last day is Dec 5th 2014
*I'm gonna back to Canada Jan 29 2015
*In the letter of employment, it states that I started Nov 18th 2013 work till Dec 5th 2014 and it doesn't state that I had vacation. 40 hours / week.
*I had a few sickdays which is being payed.

If you fulfill 52 months on 5th Dec.. isnt it the end of the 52nd week? usually companies send paystubs before paying the salary.. i guess if u cannot arrange for pay stub may be u could show your bank statement showing the salary has been deposited into your account.. this proof might suffice too perhaps..

^Also, take note that your employment letter should be dated after you've gained your one-year of experience.
Can't you arrange to have someone send it for you from Canada, so the person can include whatever last-minute docs?
Just sign those boxes that need your signature.

Employment letter is sufficient.
It is not mandatory to attach 52nd week's paystub. whatever latest paystubs you may have, you can attach it along with T4 and notice of assessment (NOA) - if already received from CRA, otherwise you can send NOA later once you receive it.

Is it necessary to have later of employment dated after 1 year completion? Mine are dated prior but i sent in all 52 paystubs.. would it effect my applicaiton?

Agreed with vkshah... only employement letter is sufficient. You can include 1 cover letter that t4 and NOA will be sent once you receive.. I m sure you will be fine..

There could be differences in the way VOs calculate your length of experiences. In general, it is always better to provide contingency of 1 or 2 weeks, just in case. Can you provide us more details: when did you start? any extended time off?

What is your concern regarding your letter of employment from your work place?

How long are you gonna be in Korea for?

For such important case, like PR applications, I rather do things myself to ensure that everything is prepared and submitted properly. But in your case, you might need to follow Menic's advise to assign someone to send it for you from Canada. Please make sure that the person is a very responsible one and understand how important this is for you. I have heard of cases of irresponsible lawyers, let alone friends. Before you delegate the responsibilities, please check everything carefully on your end: all documents needed are there & organized neatly, all questions are answered properly, and nothing missing (signatures). If needed triple check them!

Can you arrange to have your employment letter to be dated and picked up on Dec 12th? At the moment, you are still working there, right? Then, once your friend include all last minute documents in the package, I would advise you to maybe even video skype to check everything, including the destination address. When its completed, send this application package right away, using the faster mail delivery with tracking. Maybe slightly expensive, but worth the dollars for your anxiousness while tracking the progress of the package mailing.

Good luck with your application! Keep us updated with your situation, alright? Cheers~

Thank you everybody! Your advice is greatly helpful.

I think I'm gonna send it through my friend on Dec 13th. Thanks Menic, retwant.
I would share the story coming after.

and I just want to make sure.

*Does CIC allow that while the applicant is in outside of Canada and someone else send the application for the applicant?
*Do I need to appoint a representative?
*An applicant can send additional document after send application? maybe upon request?

^You'll be back in Canada anyway, so it's better if your application is sent from Canada. Otherwise, send them a new address info if you change your mind and do not come back.
If you want to make it formal, maybe you can appoint your friend or relative as a representative so they can send your application for you from within Canada. You can always revoke them as a representative anytime.

BTW, I was in the US for work when my application was sent on my behalf.

Why??? ALL applicants send a CEC application DIRECTLY to CIO-Sydney. There is no reason you cannot send it from Korea yourself.
