apply multiple entry TRV with single TRV still valid and admitted in CDN

Hello,

I have a question here:

My Mum come to Canada from China to visit me on 2/2/2011 with a single entry TRV. She is going back in April (next month) and want to come to Canada again in July. Can she now mail application to Buffalo Embassy to apply a new multiple entry TRV while the current one is still valid???

Any one had this experience before, please... let me know. Thank you!!!

It is very hard to get visa in China and my mom have to fly to get to the Beijing embassy.

Can you share what sort of documents you/your mom provided that they issue a TRV single entry valid for 2 months? Thank you.

My mum applied with what they requested at Beijing embassy, job letter, bank account, invitation letter. She got rejected twice before, this time is lucky and it is valid July, but this is single entry.

So I am thinking to apply at Buffalo embassy for multiple entrance so next time she can come directly from China.
