Hi guys !
After many years I'm now very close to be eligible to apply for PR from BC, me and my husband are currently working here with a valid work permit each.

Recently my husband got a job offer from Montreal, and it's gonna be a pity to refuse it since it's a very good position....
So we were thinking that he will be the only one moving in Quebec, while I stay with my current employer in BC and apply for PR for both, then I will move to Montreal as well.

Can I Do PR application inluding my husband even if he will reside in another Province??

we don't want to apply for PR from Quebec since we will have to wait at least 1 year more before be eligible :(

THANKS !!!

I know If I do the application by myself, then I can sponsor my husband.... but it will take a year as well for him to be a permanent resident... we are honestly tired of all the bureaucracy after many years we are so close and would like just some peace of mind :(

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
If you select Quebec as your intended destination then your application will be cancelled for not meeting the EE eligibility criteria.

You intend to move to Montreal, so unless you're planning on lying on your EE application you should not apply via EE.

maybe I express myself wrongly.... I'm intent to stay in BC (while my husband goes to Montreal) I will work in BC get the PR in BC and stay in BC.
THEN (which means later on in the future we don't know when it could be maybe after a year) move to Montreal as well.

As one gets PR he is free of moving wherever in Canada later, he doesn't have to stay in the same province, even with province nomination, the only obligation is to land or flagpole in the province selected during the application.
Moreover is my understanding that candidate's declaration for getting PR from inside Canada is the intent of maintain the job in that location, which is my situation.

My question is:
It would be a problem if our address will be different in the application?
And, are we elibigle to apply together as couple from BC even if one of us is not phisically in BC ?

I don't know if the main applicant only has to be currently in BC, or partner has to as well....
