Apply for urgent canada passport abroad for twins

Hi,
Today I applied for my infants canada passport from India by adding travel airticket as proof of urgency. I was told to come and pickup passport on jan 30. So Can I cancel my flight ticket now, so that I will get full refund? Should I keep my ticket till I get passport or i can cancel it?

Why would you cancel tickets since you applied for urgent travel? May ask for proof when you pick up passports on January 30.

I just found that another airlines is offering at low price, so I want to cancel existing ticket and rebook tickets with another airlines

So this is an issue with the airline and whether you have a non refundable ticket. Make sure you have proof of urgent travel with confirmed/paid tickets when you pick up passports.

Understood. Thanks for your reply. But the literary i submitted today in consulate will be different from the itinerary I will rebook with another airlines, but the date of travel remains same. So I am wondering if the change in itenary document will cause an issue?

No issue
